Eventually they started the guitar pro program, which they started selling, and it was great. I could understand keeping it the same as you had for years, just sub the pro, leave the analog tabs free. Which is ridiculous but i love the database so i took the hit. this $10 additional dollars to have progress tracked is insulting.

Screen layout The biggest change from Guitar Pro 6 to Guitar Pro 7 is the complete design overhaul.

While GP6 doesn’t look dated like GP5 does today, GP7 is a step up in many ways.

To name a few; it is able to sync the tabs/music notes with One Drive, stream the corresponding audio for the tab playback through Sound Cloud and classify the tabs with artist/album art retrieved via Last Fm.
